Central New York native Matt Nakoa began writing music as a teenager. A graduate of the Berklee School of Music, Nakoa has been winning accolades ever since. In 2014, he was a Kerrville New Folk Winner and also Falcon Ridge Folk Festival Most Wanted Artist, wowing the audiences at both of those gatherings – and gave a concert at the White House.
