SPARE Productions, 31 East Main Street, Binghamton

Join SPARE Productions as we present the classic musical 'Chicago'! We are thrilled to be bringing this amazing show to Binghamton, and our team could not be more excited to show off everyone's hard work on this incredible production.

From the Samuel French licensing company:

"In roaring twenties Chicago, chorine Roxie Hart murders a faithless lover and convinces her hapless husband Amos to take the rap...until he finds out he's been duped and turns on Roxie. Convicted and sent to death row, Roxie and another 'Merry Murderess', Velma Kelly, vie for the spotlight and the headlines, ultimately joining forces in search of the 'American Dream': fame, fortune and acquittal. This sharp edged satire features a dazzling score that sparked immortal staging by Bob Fosse."

With artistic direction by John Penird, music direction by Joshua Vanderslice, choreography by Alery Patton, set design by Jason Dearing, and costumes by Caileen Harvey, our fantastic cast and creative team are ready to rock it — you do NOT want to miss them!

Showtimes are 7:30 PM on Friday, July 8 and Saturday, July 9, and 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 10. Tickets are $12.00 for adults and $10.00 for students and seniors, and can be reserved by e-mailing boxoffice@spareproductions.org or by calling (607) 542-9057.

We would be remiss if we didn't mention the hundreds of hours of behind-the-scenes work our technical and production teams continue to put into this production. Led by our producer, Catherine Carter, they wow us all with their work. It truly takes a village to put on a production like this.

Come see this phenomenal show. We hope to see you there — "and all that jazz!"

“Chicago” is presented by special arrangement with SAMUEL FRENCH, INC.
