The Crucible

Complementing the Glimmerglass Festival's operatic production, Glimmer Globe Theatre Company proudly presents Arthur Miller's The Crucible, directed by Mary Davis Fralick. The tale of a Puritan community in Salem, Massachusetts set at the height of the Witch Trials. As the town Reverend and the adult community realize their teenage daughters are participating in seemingly satanic practices, their community crumbles in a dark satire of McCarthyism. Set against Glimmerglass Lake in the Lucy B. Hamilton Amphitheater, this production is not to be missed!

ADMISSION: Adults (ages 13-64) $15; Seniors (ages 65+) and Members $12.50; Juniors (ages 7-12) $10; Kids 6 and under are Free. Buy your tickets online or by calling 607-547-1461.

Boxed meals will be available for purchase for $15 including tax for the July 20 and July 27 performances.

Boxed meal options include a choice of:
Grilled chicken, lettuce, cheese in an herb wrap;
Ham and cheese, lettuce on a wheat wrap;
Turkey and Swiss, lettuce on a spinach wrap;
Hummus, lettuce, cheese in an herb wrap.
Also includes bag of chips, piece of fruit, cookie.
Individual salads vary (potato, pasta, macaroni, etc.)
Choice of beverage (soda or bottle of water).

Food orders must be placed by, and cannot be ordered after July 18 at 12:00pm for the 20th performance, and July 25 at 12:00pm for the 27th performance. Please call 607-547-1461 to order a boxed meal, and let us know about food allergies when placing your order.

Worried about the weather for The Crucible? We have rain dates! If a Wednesday night performance is rained out, we will be performing the show on the immediately following Thursday, at 7:00pm. If you're unsure whether the show will be using a rain date, please call 888-547-1492 between 4 and 6pm.
