On Sunday, September 11th at 3 p.m., the Phelps Mansion Museum will present Saxophonist Joel Diegert and Pianist Mariam Vardzelashvili during its Chamber Concert Series at 191 Court Street in Binghamton.

American Saxophonist Joel Diegert is a dynamic musician, representing a new, young generation of international saxophonists. He has won several major international competitions and performs in the US and throughout Europe. He will perform with Pianist Mariam Vardzelashvili, who was born in Georgia and studied at the Tbilisi State Conservatory until the age of 20. When she moved to the States, she completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. She has won several competitions, including the P. Konjevich Competition for Young Musicians, F. Chopin International Competition for Young Pianisits, and the Dr. Marjorie Conrad Peatee Art Song Competition.

Admission is $15 for the general public, $10 for museum members, and $5 for children and students with I.D. Children under 13 are free. Tickets can be purchased online. For more information, please call (607) 722-4873 or email us at info@phelpsmansion.org. Tickets will be sold at the door.
