The Earlville Opera House is thrilled to host an album-release party for singer-songwriter Lauren Mettler Saturday November 12 at 7 PM, free and open to the public. The double-release of Mettler’s first two albums, A Handful of Soil and Patchwork, marks the culmination of over 3 years of work for this Sherburne native, and the celebration of a successful Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign leading up to their October 15 release. Both albums boast a different style and unique sound, reflecting Mettler’s creativity and breadth as an artist. Albums, t-shirts, artwork, and Kickstarter rewards will be on display, and available for contributors to take home after the show. Additionally, Mettler has generously promised to donate a portion of merchandise proceeds from the evening to the Earlville Opera House, supporting other local artists and music programming.
