Tim Grimm and the Grimm Family Band

Saturday, January 28, 2017
7:30 pm9:30 pm
6 on the Square, Oxford, NY

Tim Grim is a bit of a Renaissance man in the performing arts world. He has, for the past 15 years, blended his love for songwriting, travel, and the storytelling of acting (theatre, film and television). Tim's songs are full of the rural rumblings that have shaped his life - rich with descriptive details, and sung with warmth and intimacy - recognizing the inextinguishable national romance with the idea of the family farm and the vanishing landscape of rural America. He walks the fine line between folk and country, while maintaining a strong footing in tradition. Critics searching for comparisons most often cite Johnny Cash, Woody Guthrie and Bruce Springsteen. Tim will be performing with The Family Band, who just released their CD "Woody's Landlord" which was the #1 song on Folk Radio nationally in October 2016.
