The Artist as Naturalist: Natural Impressions

Using materials from the forest floor, students will be introduced to Monoprinting, a direct printmaking process results in unique, one of a kind prints pulled from a gelatin plate surface. This surface allows for unlimited experimentation with color, overlays, and found materials and stencil materials that gives each person an immediate sense of accomplishment and success. Instruction and initial guided practice in several techniques will be demonstrated before independent work session begins. (Recommended for ages 13 and up. All materials included) Pre-registration required by noon Friday, July 28 Members $10 per person, Not yet members $12 per person.
